Fertility Cryobank is currently seeking extraordinary men, between the ages of 18 and 35, to become sperm donors. Our intended parents are richly diverse in their backgrounds and interests, thus we are in search of donors who offer a broad spectrum of unique qualities.

In return for participation in our program, we offer a generous compensation package which can exceed $1,000 per month. In addition, you’ll receive a free physical examination and genetic screening. While sperm donation provides much more than just monetary compensation, many of our donors have used the proceeds to pay for college, travel the world, and supplement personal income. As a participant in our donor program, you will have the opportunity to make dreams come true for yourself, as well as for infertile couples and singles who can’t conceive children on their own.

Applicants must have attended/be currently attending a four year university or have demonstrated success in a chosen career.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many donation cycles can I do?

A: The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) has recommended that donors donate no more than 200 vials of sperm. Each donation results in 1-3 vials of usable sperm. Keep in mind that the majority of the 200 vials will not result in pregnancy.

Q: What is the compensation?

A: Donors receive $100 per donation that results in a usable sample. In addition, donors receive a $500 bonus upon completion of their six-month infectious disease screening.

Q: Why does Fertility Cryobank pay more than any other existing sperm donation program?

A: Traditionally sperm banks have provided very little information on their donors, making it difficult for intended parents to find a good match. For many years, egg donor agencies have provided photos and video interviews to intended parents, making the donor selection process less impersonal. We realize that providing photos and a video interview will increase the length of the process, so we want to adequately compensate you for your time and efforts.

Q: Is the donation anonymous?

A: Our program accepts both ID release and anonymous donors. We will discuss these options with you and you have the opportunity to choose what kind of donor you would like to be.

Q: Do I have any legal responsibility towards any offspring that may result?

A: Under the California Uniform Parentage Act, a sperm donor providing sperm to someone other than his wife, via a licensed physician or surgeon, is not legally or financially responsible for any resulting children and is deemed not to be the natural father of such children. Additionally, you are further protected under the terms of contracts which are signed by both you and the recipients.

Q: Do I have to live in California to be a sperm donor?

A: Yes. We require travel to our offices in Los Angeles three times per week.
